Adriaclim climate literacy platform presented at ECCA and EGU

Adriaclim at EGU 2023 and ECCA 2023

 

On April 26, 2023, the Climate Literacy interactive platform developed by CMCC within the Adriaclim project was presenteed at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna. The presentation, held by Ottavia Carlon (CMCC) and titled “Innovative tools to narrate the importance of climate literacy”, was included in the session “EOS2.3 – Climate and ocean education: Geoethics, emergency, fossil fuels, war and more”. The EGU23 General Assembly welcomed 18,831 registered attendees, of which 15,453 made their way to Vienna from 107 countries and 3,378 joined online from 105 countries.

 

 

The climateliteracy.eu interactive platform on Climate Literacy developed by CMCC within the Adriaclim project was presented at the 6th European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA) in Dublin on June 21, 2023. The presentation, titled “Let me tell nine stories of adaptation in the Adriatic Sea” was held by Ottavia Carlon (CMCC) in the Focus Session “Stories and Quiz”. The European Climate Change Adaptation conference is biannual and is convened by projects that have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Framework Programme.
