2025 key Conference | Paths That Last – Collaborating for a Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean

The main activity carried out in 2025 by the 8 Programmes involved in the Mechanism is the conference Paths That Last – Collaborating for a Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean, that took place on 25–26 June in Split (Croatia).

This two-day event brought together project beneficiaries, institutions, and youth representatives to:

  • Share solutions developed by cross-border and transnational Interreg projects
  • Identify synergies and foster joint capitalisation efforts
  • Shape common recommendations for the future of sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean

The agenda included high-level round tables, thematic workshops, and the official launch of peer learning and study visit activities between programmes and their beneficiaries.

The event also represented a key moment to reinforce the MMM as a strategic cooperation model and to build a common ground for future coordinated calls for proposals.
