TRANSPONEXT Trainings in Italy and Croatia

The TRANSPONEXT project is pleased to announce its upcoming series of specialized training modules taking place in Croatia and Italy.

Designed for logistics operators, maritime professionals, supply chain managers, intermodal transport experts, and public authorities, these capacity-building sessions aim to equip industry stakeholders with essential tools to navigate the shifting geopolitical, economic, and technological forces transforming modern transport corridors.

Croatia Trainings: "Observing and Interpreting Change"

Organized by project partner Istrian Development Agency (IDA) in close cooperation with the University of Zadar (UNIZD), the Croatian sessions will take place in a hybrid format (online and in person) at the Maritime Department of the University of Zadar, Citadela lecture hall:

  • Thursday, 2 July 2026 (08:00 – 14:00) | Lecturer: Dr. Sc. Mate Barić

    • Module 1: Strategic Scenarios in Traffic and Logistics – Scenario planning, strategic forecasting, and adaptation to global economic and environmental shifts.

    • Module 3: Digital Logistics – Big Data analytics, Industry 4.0, supply chain transparency, and AI integration.

  • Friday, 3 July 2026 (08:00 – 14:00) | Lecturer: Dr. Sc. Luka Grbić

    • Module 2 & Module 4: Sustainable Logistics and Circular Economy – Supply chain risk management, nearshoring/friendshoring paradigms, and structural sustainable toolkits.

Italy Trainings: "Navigating the Transition"

Coordinated by Agenzia di Sviluppo, Azienda speciale CCIAA di Chieti Pescara, the Italian sessions will focus on tools and methods to address modern supply chain disruptions and align operations with European Green Deal objectives:

  • July 3, 2026 | Macro Trends & Sustainability: Analyzing structural changes in global supply chains and developing sustainable business frameworks.

  • July 10, 2026 | Resilience & Digital Logistics: Building organizational resilience and exploring enabling technologies under the Logistics 4.0 paradigm.

Through practical case studies and operational benchmarking, participants will evaluate organizational digital maturity and boost regional competitiveness.

For TRANSPONEXT, these training sessions represent a vital opportunity to foster cross-border knowledge exchange, drive innovation, and strengthen partnerships across the Adriatic region.

The project team looks forward to engaging with regional stakeholders to further the goals of sustainable transport, digital integration, and intermodal connectivity.
