Pula Meeting Sparks Progress on Digital Pilot Actions and Logistics Training
23/12/2025
Project partners recently concluded a productive 4th Steering Committee meeting at Coworking Pula to finalize key project milestones and coordinate the next steps for digital transport integration.
The meeting opened with the announcement that Work Package 1 is now officially finalized. All major deliverables, including the 200-page cross-border Action Plan, Best practice analyses and Cross-border Strategy, have been submitted and are available for review.
A significant portion of the meeting focused on the technical progress of pilot actions:
-
Digital Innovation: Partners provided updates on wagon pooling software, cargo observation systems, and intermodal unit tracking.
-
Platform Integration: A roadmap was established to ensure external technical experts synchronize these pilots with the project’s central platform.
-
Testing Phase: The partnership agreed on a methodology for external testing of the platform to ensure an objective, user-centric assessment of the port and intermodal modules.
The project is shifting focus toward knowledge transfer. Plans were solidified for four training modules targeting logistics executives and stakeholders. These sessions, covering topics from digital logistics to circular economy, will be delivered in both Croatian and Italian to maximize local impact.
Finally, partners discussed the roadmap for 2026, including a series of local public events to showcase pilots and a Final Conference tentatively planned for June in Venice.
