Adriatic Cross-Border Opportunities Highlighted at Croatian Port Days 2025

The TRANSPONEXT project was prominently featured at the inaugural “Croatian Port Days” conference, which took place at Hotel Kompas in Dubrovnik on March 27–28, 2025. Hosted by the Dubrovnik Port Authority, the landmark national event successfully convened Croatian port authorities, maritime experts, policymakers, and investors to discuss the future of the nation’s ports.
On the second day of the conference, TRANSPONEXT representatives contributed to the vital panel discussion, "Cross-border opportunities for the Adriatic ports through Interreg Italy-Croatia Projects." The panel delved into the strategic advantages and collaborative potential offered by cross-border initiatives, with a specific focus on the successes and opportunities within the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme.
The project’s involvement underscored its commitment to fostering sustainable and efficient maritime transport solutions across the Adriatic. Representatives shared valuable insights and expertise on how collaborative projects can drive innovation, enhance port infrastructure, and strengthen regional economic integration.
The “Croatian Port Days” conference achieved its aim of emphasizing the importance of Croatian ports for the national and regional economy.
