Workshops at “Next Innovation Road 2026” in Trieste
On 16 June 2026, the second edition of Next Innovation Road 2026 will take place in a remote format, focusing on the theme “Digitalization between Sea and Space”.
The event, promoted by M.A.R.E. TC FVG, will gather stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem to discuss the role of digitalisation in the nautical and aerospace sectors. The programme will include keynote speeches as well as the presentation of results developed through a collaborative discussion process involving more than 60 stakeholders.
As part of the event, project partners will organise two dedicated workshops exploring the decarbonisation of maritime transport and the role of digital technologies in hydrogen-based solutions.
The workshops will address:
- Current/Future State of Zero Emission Maritime Transport in the Adriatic Sea
Organised by the University of Trieste, focusing on hydrogen-based solutions in the maritime sector.
- How Digital Technologies Can Be Used to Achieve Zero-Emission Maritime Transport in the Adriatic Sea
Organised by M.A.R.E. TC FVG, focusing on the application of digital technologies throughout the lifecycle of hydrogen-based systems.
The initiative is intended for companies, SMEs, start-ups, universities, research institutions, logistics and infrastructure operators, public authorities, and all stakeholders interested in sustainable maritime innovation and decarbonisation.
