The aim of the workshop is to educate farmers, producers and processors of food and beverages, restaurateurs, and all interested parties about the possibilities and limitations of the process of introducing certificates and labels (ISO, EMAS, ECOLABEL, EU eco certificate...) and about their importance for sustainable tourism in order to raise levels of knowledge and innovation.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sinjska cesta 10, 22300 Knin (Information and Innovation Incubator (3i).

The workshop is open, free for all interested parties, interactive, and will contain numerous examples from practice accompanied by video and photo presentations. Throughout February, identical workshops are planned in Drniš and Šibenik.

Main lecturer, Ana Marušić Lisac, B.Sc. ing. of agronomy from the company BIOTECHNICON, Split, has been involved in the control and certification of organic agriculture and production for more than twenty years, since then he has been leading the certification body. Actively works to promote sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and rural development, with an emphasis on working with small producers, especially in remote and less accessible areas.
