A new and important collaboration for our Educational Program for Schools

In the morning of January 20, Federica Pirazzini (Municipality of Ravenna) and Marco Faggioli (University of Ferrara) engaged with a large group of students and teachers from the Morigia-Perdisa High School.
During the meeting, they presented the activities and objectives of the STRENGTH project, illustrated the main natural hazards affecting the project’s test areas, and introduced some fundamental principles of science communication.
With this event, an important collaboration begins between the STRENGTH project and the ITG Morigia-Perdisa school in Ravenna, through which, in the next few months four classes from the “Graphics and Communication” course will collaborate with STRENGTH to produce four different communication outputs focused on natural hazards related to climate change.
This collaboration represents a valuable opportunity to connect schools, local communities, and institutions, bringing together skills and creativity to develop useful and effective materials that enhance awareness and resilience to natural risks.
