A fifth-grade class from the Opuzen primary school, participated in a workshop organized by Dubrovnik Neretva county last May 15. The workshop aimed to raise children awareness of the risks of floods and other disasters. The workshop was conducted by the head of the civil protection service in Dubrovnik, Mrs. Ana Miličić. The children were actively engaged in activities and then received useful picture books describing the phenomena. Such education activities are part of STREAM goals to improve the flood risk management in the areas involved by improving the knowledge of the pehomenon among the citizens.
