RESONANCE Field Visit to Conero Regional Park
On Wednesday, 8 July 2026, the RESONANCE Public Event will continue with a field visit to the Conero Regional Park case study.
Participants will depart from Fano and travel to the Port of Numana, where they will board a boat for a cruise along the Conero cliffs. The visit will include several representative coastal sites, including Sassi Neri, San Michele, Portonovo, and Mezzavalle, which are relevant for understanding coastal instability, cliff evolution, and hydrogeological risk in rocky coastal environments.
After the boat cruise, the programme will continue in Portonovo Bay, including lunch and a visit to the Church of Santa Maria di Portonovo. The field visit will conclude with a visit to the Conero Park Visitor Center in Sirolo.
This activity strengthens the practical dimension of the RESONANCE project by connecting scientific knowledge, field observation, and stakeholder cooperation for sustainable coastal risk management in the Adriatic region.
