4th RESONANCE Steering Committee Meeting held in Pula

On Thursday, 26 February 2026, the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the RESONANCE project (Interreg Italy–Croatia) was held at the premises of PP5 – Istrian University of Applied Sciences in Pula (Riva 4). The meeting gathered the Lead Partner (LP – University of Urbino / UNIURB) and project partners to review progress, align next steps, and strengthen the integration of technical outputs and communication actions.
The meeting was hosted by PP5-IV in Pula (Riva 4) and brought together RESONANCE partners, including LP-UNIURB, PP2-CNR, PP3-GRADRI (Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka) and PP4-CRP (Conero Regional Park).
The 4th Steering Committee Meeting focused on:
· project management follow-up and coordination ahead of upcoming reporting and implementation steps,
· a structured work package review (WP1–WP4) and deliverables’ follow-up,
· agreement on next steps in pilot areas and improved linkage between monitoring, risk analysis and digital tools,
· reinforcing project communication and visibility through planned outreach activities.
Following Welcome & Introduction by PP5-IV, the Lead Partner (LP-UNIURB) provided a Project Management follow-up.
Partners then reviewed WP1, including the follow-up of Activity 1.3 and Output O.1.1 – an integrated survey/monitoring system in the pilot areas, together with the definition of next steps (LP-UNIURB, PP2-CNR, PP3-GRADRI).
A core part of the meeting addressed WP2 – Slope analysis and risk definition, covering the follow-up of Activities 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 and related deliverables. Particular attention was given to Output O.2.1 – landslide hazard and susceptibility thematic maps, which support jointly developed mitigation strategies (LP-UNIURB, PP2-CNR, PP3-GRADRI, PP4-CRP, PP5-IV).
The meeting continued with WP3 – VR/AR/MR tools for advanced risk prevention and mitigation, reviewing Activities 3.1 and 3.2 and upcoming actions (LP-UNIURB).
In WP4, PP4-CRP and PP5-IV presented the follow-up and next steps, followed by a Project Communication follow-up session reviewing communication actions and planned activities to increase project visibility (PP4-CRP, PP5-IV).
The meeting concluded with final remarks by the Lead Partner and an agreed roadmap for the coming weeks, ensuring that field data, risk analysis outputs and digital tools are consistently integrated and communicated to relevant stakeholders and the wider public.
