WP 1 - Benchmarking and assessment of existing Early Warning System (EWS)
Provides a comprehensive picture of Early Warning Systems (EWS) and climate adaptation strategies in the Italy–Croatia Programme Area by assessing tools, policies, and governance, identifying gaps, harmonisation needs, and standardisation opportunities, and improving preparedness and resilience. It builds on past results to address knowledge gaps, promote integrated risk assessment, adapt solutions from similar contexts, enhance risk assessment through better data and modelling, strengthen EWS operability with shared guidelines, and support evidence-based policy and planning.
