NEWS project's Declaration of Intents is starting to be signed

The first network that has signed the Declaration of Intents developed by the NEWS project's partnership is ECIPA Abruzzo, the accredited training body with the Abruzzo Region that provides certified training and development programs to support SMEs in the region. Their focus includes promoting innovation, upskilling, and driving economic growth, particularly in digitalization, sustainability, and cross-border trade.
The Declaration of Intent is designed to support the NEWS governance model and enhance cross-border business collaboration in the Adriatic-Ionian region. Through this commitment, the Declaration addresses legal and administrative barriers, improves credit access for SMEs, strengthens trade partnerships, and promotes skills standardization with a focus on digitalization. It also encourages sustainable practices, such as joint energy efficiency initiatives, and supports SMEs in the blue and circular economy. By fostering collaboration and resource-sharing, the Declaration aims to establish a resilient and innovative professional services cluster spanning Italy and Croatia.
