During the high-level event held in Trieste on 25 March 2026, representatives of key European cooperation programmes shared their perspectives on transport innovation and port development.
In this context, Hrvoje Grancarić highlighted the importance of initiatives co-financed by the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme in fostering innovation within port systems. In particular, he referred to projects such as MILEPORT, underlining how programme support contributes to improving port operations and advancing digitalisation processes, generating tangible benefits for maritime connectivity and last-mile efficiency across the programme area.
