MILEPORT Featured in the “Green & Smart Ports” Booklet of the EUSAIR Strategy

We are glad to announce that MILEPORT has been selected for inclusion in the Green & Smart Ports Booklet, a publication developed within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), under Pillar 2 – Transport.
The booklet provides a clear and engaging overview of how Interreg programmes across the Adriatic-Ionian Region are integrating the Green and Smart Ports priority into meaningful cooperation initiatives. It highlights the growing importance of ports as drivers of sustainability, digital innovation, and improved regional connectivity. Within this context, MILEPORT stands out as an initiative supporting smarter logistics, more efficient port operations, and enhanced environmental performance.
The publication is part of the broader Embedding process, which examines how EUSAIR strategic objectives are translated into concrete actions through existing European, national, and regional funding. Developed with the support of the StEP project (Interreg IPA ADRION), the booklet also underscores the need for continuous monitoring to strengthen the implementation of the EUSAIR Action Plan.
This recognition places MILEPORT among the initiatives actively contributing to the development of greener, smarter, and more resilient port systems across the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region.
