Montebello di Bertona hosts INABLE Project Meeting and Public event

On 18-19th September Project Partners attended the second in-person Project Meeting in Montebello di Bertona (Abruzzo Region).
Croatian members of Motovun-Montona Municipality and EU Centar Adriatic joined the local staff of Montebello Municipality and the representative of the Lead Partner CAT Confcommercio.
During the working session a briefing about management and reporting aspects was realized to effectively support the last months of the project. Moreover, the main features of a Cooperation Agreement were discussed, in order to create the conditions for future enhancement of initiatives related to digital sustainability.
On Thursday's afternoon a public event was organized to discuss with local associations, citizens and entrepreneurs about INABLE activities, listening to territorial best practices and experiences.
The event was attendend by representatives of Cooperive COGECSTRE, actively involved in environmental protection and valorization of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga Protected Area, two local farmers who reintroduced the cultivation of old grains varieties and the production of a typical cheese named "Pecorino di Farindola". Other participants were the members of local associations who showcased their daily effort to revitalize in a sustainable manner these remote and scarsely populated area, with a rich environmental heritage to preserve.
