Third INABLE Digital Workshop: Public-Private Partnerships for Air Quality Monitoring

On Wednesday 28th JULY, at 10:00 AM we organized the third INABLE Digital Workshop. We were glad to host Federico Righini, Managing Director at Quanta SRL, who explained how digital platforms can be used to strenghtnen local organizations ability to access and manage environmental public data.
After a first introduction about the sectoral main challenges and data sources, our host showcased the innovative platform SmartMuni. This digital tool was taken as an example of how digitalization can support sustainability initiatives and efforts, especially concerning air quality.
He suggested some useful applications of the platform for different stakeholder categories, while pointing out existing barriers, such as differences in data distribution standard among EU countries but also at the national level, between regions.
