World Water Day: Guided tour and workshops for primary school pupils in Palud
On the occasion of World Water Day (occurring on March 22nd, 2026), PI Natura Histrica has invited a local school to attend an educational event at Palud Ornithological Reserve.
On 23 March, they will host a guided tour of the Palud wetland, and a workshop and birdwatching event for primary school pupils during which we will present the importance of wetlands for biodiversity and local communities, dangers of climate change and invasive species, and introduce pupils to relevant biological concepts and terms, as well as the bird species significant to the area.
GREWAPP will be introduced as a useful "citizen science" tool to accompany teachers.
