4th Project Partner and Steering Committee Meeting in Vieste
The Municipality of Vieste, in cooperation with the FORTIC Project consortium, is hosting the 4th Project Partner Meeting, Steering Committee session, and a series of public events that will take place in Vieste on October 1–2, 2025.
The Partner Meeting will bring together all project partners to discuss project implementation, progress achieved within each work package, and upcoming activities. Particular attention will be given to the development of the Joint Strategy on Cultural Heritage, which aims to establish a shared framework for the sustainable management and valorisation of fortifications across the Italy–Croatia cross-border area.
Alongside the partner sessions, the Steering Committee Meeting will ensure strategic coordination and alignment of project activities.
The programme will also feature a study visit to the fortified city and Castle of Vieste, an International Conference on Business Models for Fortifications, and a Sustainability Workshop dedicated to innovative and integrated approaches to heritage management, sustainable tourism, and community engagement.
This event represents an important milestone in the FORTIC project, strengthening cross-border cooperation and promoting Adriatic fortifications as models of cultural innovation, peacebuilding, and sustainable local development.
