The pilot actions within our project clearly demonstrate the benefits of digitalisation in port ecosystems.
Yesterday in Venice, the DIGITPORTS project was presented at the local stakeholders community, gathering a crowded attendance and much interest of the Venice Customs Agency, shipping agents , freight forwarders, Associations of Customs Agents, road hauliers and terminal operators.
North Adriatic Sea Port Authority - Ports of Venice and Chioggia, project coordinator, and technical partner Esri Italia presented the pilot action carried out to digitize and centralize the management of concessions related to public areas in the Port of Venice, streamlining the handling of geographic and alphanumeric data associated with these assets.
The full engineering of an administrative Digital Twin enables a more streamlined concession proceedings and predictive maintenance of maritime properties (SUA Desk - one-stop-shop concept).
