Third Regular Coordination Meeting of the Digital Plan Project
On 19–20 June 2025, Bol on the island of Brač will host a two-day event dedicated to knowledge exchange and progress review within the 'Digital Plan' project, co-financed by the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 programme.
The project aims to modernize and digitalize civil protection planning through smart technologies and strengthened cross-border cooperation. Key innovations include IoT (Internet of Things) sensors, an interactive Decision Support System (DSS) platform, and capacity-building activities to enhance risk management and local response.
As part of the SpliTech 2025 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies, representatives from FESB and RERA SD will present the project’s objectives, achievements, and next steps, with a focus on IoT systems enabling real-time data collection for civil protection operations.
The event will also feature the 3rd Regular Coordination Meeting, gathering partners to discuss digital tools, pilot activities, and training initiatives, followed by the Project Steering Committee meeting to review tasks, address challenges, and plan future actions.
By applying smart technologies, the 'Digital Plan' project works to strengthen preparedness and resilience in the programme area, contributing to a safer and more responsive cross-border environment.
