Project specific objectives

Project specific objective is to develop tools that empower young people to take control of technology, enabling them to use it responsibly rather than being influenced by it.

The D.E.C. project will achieve its objective by promoting digital ethics and citizens' rights, focusing on closing knowledge gaps among young people.

Activities include workshops, expert sessions, and an innovation camp to build skills in data protection, cybersecurity, and AI. A handbook and trained youth ambassadors will ensure lasting impact, with partner collaboration driving future initiatives in digital rights and ethics.

About

This D.E.C. project is a Small-scale project designed to assist Italian and Croatian businesses in understanding and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related privacy laws.

By fostering transparent information handling practices and business accountability, the project aims to instill confidence in individuals that their privacy is being safeguarded. The project will train a network of ethics ambassadors to ensure widespread understanding and replication of cultural expectations across the two Programme areas. Emphasizing values over regulatory fines, the project will prioritize building and sustaining trust among people, clients, and other stakeholders.
