From Former Railway Stations to New Gateways for Sustainable Cycle Tourism

As part of the CYROS project, former railway stations along the Via Verde route on the Costa dei Trabocchi are being transformed into modern hubs for tourism, hospitality, and cycling services.
With the successful acquisition of the areas involved in this redevelopment project, the stations of San Vito Chietino, Fossacesia, Torino di Sangro and Vasto are becoming strategic service points that support cycle tourism through unique cultural content.
This initiative, which encompasses infrastructural renewal and the strengthening of local communities, directly contributes to the goals of sustainable mobility and integrated tourism in the region.
