CRESPORT’s participation in CIPRE 2025: a hub for knowledge exchange

29/10/2025

CRESPORT continues to strengthen the cybersecurity and digital resilience of Adriatic ports, engaging all partners in the practical application of the NIS2 Directive and in the deployment of hardware and software solutions to safeguard critical assets. Ongoing activities combine training, testing, and alignment with major international frameworks, while at the operational level the project is consolidating monitoring platforms, incident response processes, and advanced network security control systems, with particular attention to detection, timely response, and rapid restoration of essential services.

In this context, from 14th to 16th October in Brindisi, the North Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority - Port of Ravenna, as Lead Partner, participated in the Critical Infrastructure Protection & Resilience Europe (CIPRE) 2025 international conference - one of Europe’s foremost events devoted to the protection of critical infrastructure, bringing together experts, institutions, researchers, and industry professionals.

CRESPORT’s participation in the event provided an opportunity to share project progress, gather operational insights, and strengthen synergies with other European initiatives in the field of digital and infrastructural security.

Exchange and collaboration remain key drivers in building a safer and more resilient Adriatic ecosystem.
