CRESPORT in Dubrovnik: dialogue and cooperation driving the CYBERSECURITY of Adriatic Ports
30/09/2025
Dubrovnik hosted on September 24th and 25th, two key events within the CRESPORT project. The gathering combined strategic reflection with concrete assessment, highlighting how cooperation among partners is crucial to shaping a safer digital future for Adriatic Ports.
The first day featured the Fourth Steering Committee, where the partnership reviewed the progress made in the first 18 months of activity. The completion of the first Work Package and the delivery of the expected outputs were presented, while particular attention was given to the pilot actions underway. These actions, two per partner, in some cases supported by dedicated investments, represent the project’s operational backbone. The session also explored the final Work Package, with an emphasis on the importance of clear communication and effective dissemination of results.
The second day was devoted to the Mid-Term Review Meeting, attended by representatives of the Italy–Croatia Programme Managing Authority. This intermediate evaluation provided an opportunity not only to take stock of results and challenges but also to engage in a constructive exchange on how to overcome difficulties and align future steps. The open dialogue with the Programme’s representatives strengthened mutual understanding and reinforced a shared sense of responsibility.
The Dubrovnik meetings were not only a checkpoint in the project’s timeline, but also a reminder that continuous discussion, transparency, and collaboration are essential to ensure that the outcomes of CRESPORT will be both practical and lasting. It is through this ongoing exchange that the project can move from plans to tangible improvements, building a resilient cybersecurity framework for Adriatic Ports that stands the test of time.
