WP 1 Knowledge exchange and capacity building

The specific objective of this work package is to enhance the knowledge and practices of project partners through collaboration and mutual learning in their respective fields of work. Through series of educations organized according to the specific themes and topics the aforementioned staff members will be educated and equipped with new skills and practices they will be able to use in their further work.

A1.1 Assesments on development of observing practices in early and preschool education

Assesments on the online educations on  development of observing practices in early and preschool education prepared by the partnering institutions: Talijanski dječji vrtić Fregola Buje – Scuola d'infanzia italiana Fregola Buie, Dječji vrtić Suncokret Cittanova – Scuola dell'infanzia Girasole Novigrad and Or.s.a Società Cooperativa Sociale- Nido D’infanzia interaziendale: “I cuccioli della scienza” La Sissa dei piccoli Trieste.

A1.2 Assesments on educations for developing documentation practices in early and preschool education organizations

Assessments reports on series of educations to further develop and assist the preschool educators on documentation practices such as photography and videomaking.

A1.3 Capacity building in the field of management and communication

The main topic of this set of educations is to develop strategic communication in educational services, project implementation and marketing for education services, digital competencies, communication and staff management, in particular developing skills for effective staff management

A1.4 Assessments on educations for enhancing knowledge and skills in the field of language teaching

The focus of these educations is on language and multilingualism, from its development from a neuroscientific point of view in the first years of life, to its use and functional meaning within relationships, and to building the individual self (development of social and communicative competence). The different territorial areas involved in the project use different languages and dialects that contribute to the creation of multilingualism and multiculturalism.

A1.5 Assesments on Croatian language and preschool education in Italy

The one-day workshop was developed to support the Croatian Community living in Italy, this workshop tackles the current state and needs of the Croatian minority in the context of preschool education in Croatian language.

WP 2 Experience exchange and study visits

This WP provided the project partners with opportunities to learn from each other on site thus practicing cooperation in their own environments through several study visits and live meetings.

A2.1 Assesments reports on Study Visits, observation and documentation ofspecific work practices in educational institutions

Reports on a set of study visits to exchange good practices and strengthen the collaboration in the partnering organisations as well as in selected institutions operating in Italy, selected for their relevance, educational methodologies and innovations in the field of preschool education.

A2.2 Assesment reports Final Conference "The importance of investing in early and preschool education"

The final conference aimed to involve the general public and relevant target groups and present the project's activities, objectives and aims as well as sensibilize and raise awareness of the importance of preschool education.

A2.3 Assesment reports on the travelling Exhibition and Memorandum on Cooperation

Assessments on the creation of the traveling exhibition with the materials created through the project's activities. The exhibition developed to be easily set up will travel in various institutions in the cross-border region of Istria and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
