On 23rd of November 2024 in the City Theater of Buie – Buje, the Lead Partner of the project: The Italian Kindergarden Fregola of Buie – Buje organized the final conference: “The importance of investing in early and preschool education”. The conference, as the name said, aimed to promote, raise awareness on the importance of preschool education in the development of a child. The conference gave the opportunity to the directors and coordinators Francesca Deklić, Arianna Doz and Cheyenne Benvegnù to share to the wider public and to the invited local and regional authorities, NGOs’s, associations, stakeholders, media and groups of interest the activities, objectives as well as relevance and impact that the project had in both the partnering institutions and on the services that they provide to the families and to the children.

For the occasion, Andrea Debeljuh, associated PhD professor from the University of Pula and Nice Terzi, Psychologist, Pedagogue and Trainer were invited as speakers to share their knowledge and experiences in preschool education.

After the conference, the event continued in the Italian Community of Buie – Buje where the exhibition created as part of the activity has its grand opening. The exhibition represents the ending result and culmination of the joint collaboration between the cross-border partnering institutions and it is composed of the materials, research and personal projects that the educators produced throughout the project’s activities together with the children and families. The exhibition is child friendly and meant to be “played”, made of recyclable materials and easily movable. For this reason, the exhibition will “travel and be displayed not only in the partnering kindergartens but also in relevant institutions and will be shared with whoever will show interest.

All this could not be possible without the collaboration of the City of Buie-Buje and more specifically its Mayor: Fabrizio Vižitin that supported and promoted constantly project ”COPE”, believing in its objectives and aims since its initial stages.
