Activities for children and young people within the CAMPUS project were completed in early June

Through workshops, creative activities, a Youth Forum and an educational visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, the CAMPUS project engaged children and young people in exploring climate change, UNESCO heritage, and the role of future generations in building a more sustainable future.

CAMPUS Living Lab in Gospić: Advancing Climate Adaptation for Plitvice Lakes

Building on the outcomes of the first Living Lab, the second CAMPUS workshop in Gospić brought together local stakeholders to further develop climate adaptation measures for Plitvice Lakes National Park. Through discussion and collaborative assessment, participants contributed to shaping strategies aimed at strengthening the resilience and long-term protection of the UNESCO site.

CAMPUS Participation in the Youth4Sea Event

At the Youth4Sea event in Ancona, the Municipality of Ferrara presented the “Future Keepers” journey developed within the CAMPUS project, showcasing how young people can engage with UNESCO heritage and climate change through participatory and playful activities.

CAMPUS Project: First Living Lab Round on Climate Change Related to the UNESCO Site – Plitvice Lakes Held in Gospić

The first CAMPUS Living Lab round in Gospić brought together local stakeholders and decision-makers to discuss climate risks and adaptation strategies for the UNESCO site of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Through dialogue and collaborative exchange, participants contributed to shaping future climate adaptation measures aimed at protecting the site’s natural and landscape values.
