Services for SMEs – Tailored Support for Digital Transformation

As part of the BEST4.0 project, CNA Ferrara, as the project Lead Partner, provided Blue Economy SMEs with a range of tailored services aimed at supporting their digital transformation and the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions.
Companies operating across the nautical and maritime supply chain, including manufacturers of furniture for luxury yachts, high-end upholstery and technical textile solutions for the maritime sector, suppliers of marine electrical systems as well as specialised providers of vessel transfer services and safety radio systems for the maritime and aviation sectors, received customised training based on a prior assessment of each company's technology maturity. The training addressed topics such as digital strategy development, business system integration, data management and the application of artificial intelligence in Blue Economy businesses.
Through direct work with CNA Ferrara's expert team, SMEs received practical and tailored recommendations for their next steps in digitalisation, from strengthening internal innovation capabilities and cooperation with research institutions to improving the interoperability of business systems. This provided companies with clear guidance for planning future investments, improving their processes and strengthening their competitiveness in international markets.
