Services for SMEs – Practical Support for Digital Transformation

As part of the BEST4.0 project, DIH Agrifood Croatia provided SMEs from the Blue Economy sector with a range of tailored services aimed at strengthening their digital readiness and business competitiveness.
Companies operating in maritime education and professional training, as well as charter management, received detailed analyses of their business needs based on a previously conducted technology maturity assessment. The analyses covered areas such as digital strategy, integrated information systems, employees’ digital competences and opportunities for improving business processes, resulting in concrete recommendations and prioritised steps tailored to each company.
In addition, through seminars focused on Industry 4.0 trends and insights, entrepreneurs from the shipbuilding and metalworking sectors explored the potential application of digital and advanced technologies in their everyday operations, with a particular focus on automation, robotics and smart data management. Direct interaction and expert-led discussions also provided participants with an opportunity to address questions related to their specific business challenges and receive practical guidance.
By combining analytical support with knowledge transfer, these activities provided SMEs with a clearer understanding of their digital transformation priorities and a practical basis for planning future investments, improving business processes and strengthening their competitiveness.
