BEST4.0 Partners Meet in Trieste

Partners of the BEST4.0 project gathered at Area Science Park in Trieste on 24 October 2025 for a Steering Committee and Project Meeting dedicated to reviewing progress and planning next steps in supporting digital transformation across Blue Economy sectors.
Hosted by Area Science Park, the meeting focused on updates from all work packages.
CETMA, leader of WP2, presented key progress in establishing the Cross-Border Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) Network, which will foster collaboration and the adoption of Industry 4.0 principles by SMEs. Partners discussed the draft I4.0 Service Catalogue, the S3 Cross-Border Orientation Plan, and the upcoming SME Call for Interest, aiming to involve 80 SMEs in testing innovative digital solutions.
DIH Agrifood Croatia introduced activities under WP3, which will translate strategies into practice through pilot actions, training, and the creation of an open-access I4.0 Services Catalogue for Blue Economy SMEs.
