2nd Training Session, Waste-Free event & 4th Technical and Steering Committee Meeting
On 24–25 February 2026, Casarano (Italy) will host a two-day AWASTER project event combining capacity building, practical demonstration, and project coordination activities.
The programme will open with the 2nd AWASTER Training Session, focused on improving the business knowledge base on circular economy principles. Participants will explore practical tools for engaging businesses, understanding their needs, and supporting the early adoption of circular economy and low-resource economy schemes. The training will include expert presentations and interactive group work aimed at identifying key challenges and opportunities for SMEs.
In the afternoon, partners will continue with the AWASTER Technical Group Meeting, reviewing progress within Work Package 2 activities.
The first day will conclude with a Waste-Free Event at the Ex Mercato Coperto in Casarano, featuring showcases and workshops on circular economy best practices.
On the second day, partners will meet for the continuation of the Technical Group Meeting and the 4th Steering Committee Meeting, focusing on results capitalization, communication activities, project management, and next steps.
The event will further strengthen cooperation among partners and promote practical solutions for adopting circular economy principles within the AWASTER project framework.
