More than 40 participants gather for successful quizos evening

The latest edition of Quizos, Sunce’s traditional environmental pub quiz, brought together more than 40 participants at Caffe Bar Tinel in Split. Students, young people, and quiz enthusiasts demonstrated their enthusiasm for an event that combines knowledge, socialising, and environmental awareness in a fun and engaging format.
General knowledge with an environmental twist
Participants tackled a wide range of questions covering general knowledge, culture, science, history, and current affairs, creating a lively and competitive atmosphere from the first round to the last. As always, Quizos combined the classic pub quiz experience with environmental themes, reflecting Sunce’s long-standing commitment to bringing sustainability and nature conservation topics closer to younger audiences and the local quiz community.
This edition featured several questions inspired by the ADRIWATCH project, which focuses on strengthening the protection and sustainable management of marine biodiversity in the Adriatic Sea. Through questions about marine protected areas, ocean conservation, and the importance of effective marine surveillance, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the challenges and opportunities involved in protecting the sea we all share.
Bringing people together through knowledge
Beyond the competition itself, Quizos continues to serve as a meeting point for students and members of the local quiz community. This edition was particularly enriched by the contribution of students participating in the Service-Learning Programme at the University of Split, in which Sunce actively takes part. The students were involved in preparing and designing the quiz questions, while also helping with the organisation and hosting of the event. Their creativity and enthusiasm played an important role in creating a dynamic and engaging evening for all participants.
