Sunce's Pub quiz: test your knowledge and learn about environmental protection
Students and quiz enthusiasts are invited to join the latest edition of Quizos, Sunce’s traditional environmental pub quiz, which will take place on 19 May 2026 at Caffe Bar Tinel in Split, Croatia. Over the years, Quizos has become a well-known gathering that brings together people who enjoy testing their knowledge, meeting new people, and spending an evening in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
More than a classic pub quiz
While Quizos follows the familiar pub quiz format and includes a variety of general knowledge questions, it also features a selection of questions related to nature conservation, sustainability, and environmental protection. Through this approach, Sunce seeks to make environmental topics more accessible to students, young people, and the wider quiz community, showing that important issues can be discussed outside traditional educational settings and presented in a fun and engaging way.
The quiz encourages participants not only to challenge themselves but also to discover new perspectives on the natural world and the environmental challenges that shape our future. Whether participants arrive with a team or join one on the spot, Quizos provides an opportunity to connect with others through a shared love of knowledge and friendly competition.
Discover the Adriatic through ADRIWATCH
This edition will include several questions inspired by ADRIWATCH, a project dedicated to improving the protection and sustainable management of marine biodiversity in the Adriatic Sea. The project focuses on strengthening surveillance systems in marine protected areas, enhancing cooperation between Croatian and Italian institutions, and actively involving students and young professionals in conservation efforts.
By introducing ADRIWATCH themes into the quiz, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of marine protected areas, the challenges of safeguarding biodiversity, and the value of cross-border cooperation in protecting the sea that Croatia and Italy share.
Participation is free of charge, and teams can consist of up to four members. Participants can also expect a chance to win prizes provided by local partners. The quiz starts at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at Caffe Bar Tinel in Split.
