Capacity building and practical training on Civil Protection equipment in Aquileia

New equipment strengthens Civil Protection capacity in Aquileia

Through the HANDY Project, the Municipality of Aquileia has strengthened its Civil Protection capacity with the acquisition of new specialised emergency equipment, including a crane truck, anti-flood barriers, and mobile lighting towers. The equipment will support faster and more effective responses to hydrogeological risks and will be tested during dedicated training activities in March 2026.

Split-Dalmatia County has strengthened its wildfire response capacity through the acquisition of new specialised firefighting equipment. These investments will improve operational preparedness, safety, and coordination among civil protection authorities ahead of future fire seasons in the Adriatic region.
