Local Operators training for the Development of the Po Delta Cultural District

On 14 January 2026, a new meeting with local operators was held at the Salone Estense of the Rocca in Lugo di Romagna.
The event focused on the construction of the Po Delta Tourist and Cultural District, bringing together public institutions, experts, and tourism stakeholders to discuss strengths and weaknesses in the valorisation of the Po Delta Park and to identify new development opportunities.
The meeting opened with contributions from Stefania Lorenzoni, President of Garda Unico scrl, who shared the experience of coordinated territorial management in a tourism context, and representatives of the Municipality of Ravenna, Lead Partner of VALUE Plus, who presented the vision for the Po Delta Cultural District.
Researchers from CAST – University of Bologna led a participatory session aimed at identifying new thematic itineraries within the district, encouraging dialogue and direct input from local operators.
The meeting represented another important step in the participatory process promoted by VALUE Plus, strengthening cooperation and supporting the development of a shared and sustainable strategy for the enhancement of the Po Delta area.
