Enhancing Digital Tourism Skills: Training Session 2

11/11/2025

On 4 November 2025, the second training session for operators within the VALUE Plus Project took place at the Angelo Pescarini School of Arts and Crafts in Lugo (Italy), organized by the Unione dei Comuni della Bassa Romagna in collaboration with CAST - University of Bologna.

Titled “Practical Workshop for Measuring and Improving Online Performance,” the session focused on providing tourism and cultural operators with hands-on strategies to strengthen their digital presence and better communicate the value of their destinations.

Expert Guidance by Francesco Piersimoni

Once again, Francesco Piersimoni, co-founder of Adrias Online and an expert in digital tourism marketing, led the workshop. With his engaging teaching style, he guided participants through practical exercises on evaluating online performance and optimizing visibility, using innovative tools and data-driven strategies to improve communication and booking outcomes.

Strengthening the Future of Sustainable Tourism

This second session further consolidated the VALUE Plus network’s goal: to create a community of skilled professionals capable of integrating digital innovation with sustainable and inclusive tourism practices. By providing concrete, applicable knowledge, the project supports cultural and tourism operators in shaping a more connected and competitive cross-border tourism ecosystem.
