The 2nd WP Leaders Virtual Meeting Report of the Tourism4all Project was held electronically on the Google Meet platform. The meeting was chaired by representatives of the Molise Region (LP); of the Veneto Region (PP1), from the Public Institution Rera SD for Coordination snd Development of Split-Dalmatia County (Pp2), from the City of Zadar and from the Special Agency Concentro Of The Chamber Of Commerce Industry, Agricolture And Craft Of Pordenone Di Udine (Pp5).
At the center of the meeting an overview of the activities, from the main changes of the project, to the improvement of communication, up to the new ways of carrying out cross-border training and study seminars in the light of the covid emergency. Pilot actions and services for accessibility, the marketing plan and the catalog of accessible destinations also attended the meeting.
Among the priorities identified, the improvement of the progress of spending, but also the revision of the project calendar and the methods for carrying out the activities due to the covid19 emergency.
The proposal that emerged was the hypothesis of extending the Project by another six months, while the events scheduled during 2020 will all have to take place online.
Due to the emergency related to the spread of coronavirus, cross-border seminars will also have a different calendar and will be conducted online.
The first, organized by the city of Zadar (PP3) will be held in July 2020 and will concern the promotion of project activities to support the tourism sector in the covid emergency.
The second, promoted by the Croatian camping association, will concern accessible tourism practices to be implemented in campsites during the covid. The event is scheduled for February 2021.
The third cross-border event will be planned in attendance at the end of April 2021 and will cover all pilot actions on accessible tourism. It will be organized by Delta 2000 (PP8).
Local training, whose activity will end by 2020, will also take place in virtual ways.
All study visits will instead be scheduled in attendance for the next year. The first, always if it will be possible due to the emergency, will be held in February 2021, the second in March and the third in late April in the same location and in the same period in which the cross-border seminar is scheduled.
With regard to the pilot actions and services for the accessibility of tourist destinations, the need also emerged for definitive planning capable of providing precise dates on the periods of beginning and end of the implementation of the activities and the results achieved, both in report on the extension of the requested Project, both for the final version of the evaluation report for the supervisory committee to be held next month.
B2B events will have to be held in attendance, but again due to the covid emergency, the timing agreement has been postponed to a later date. The same debate then concerned the issue of participation in the Rimini fair in October 2020, on which it will be necessary to decide whether to postpone participation or even replace the expected event.
Lastly, the meeting was also an opportunity to reflect on who will be the definition of the contents and the basic rules that must be followed for the creation of the catalog of accessible accesses.
