As part of the TOURISM4ALL project, the Public Institution RERA S.D. On June 25, 2021, organized a b2b meeting (business-to-business) that brought together project partners from Italy and Croatia and tour operators working with German, Polish, Slovenian and other markets, with an emphasis on accessible tourism. The response was good, attended by about 20 tour operators who established contacts, mostly from Croatia and Italy.

The meeting of Croatian and Italian tour operators with tour operators from other European markets was an opportunity to exchange business programs and ideas, but also an opportunity to achieve new cooperation. Emphasis was placed on the promotion of the Catalog of the cross-border network of accessible tourist destinations in Croatia and Italy, developed within the project, which is aimed at promoting and developing awareness of an inclusive tourism approach.

The aim of the project, co-financed by grants from the Cross-border Cooperation Program Italy - Croatia (CBC; 2014 - 2020 V - A Interreg), is to develop and promote a cross-border network of tourist destinations of affordable tourism.

Improving the accessibility of natural and cultural sights of selected destinations and promoting new tourist services will encourage the social inclusion of disadvantaged people (people with disabilities, the elderly, groups, families with children, etc.), but also contribute to reducing seasonality.

The organization of this b2b event and the promotion of the Catalog of the cross-border network of accessible tourist destinations contribute to the goal of the project through the joint tourist promotion of the destinations involved. In this way, it is expected to improve the availability and visibility of accessible tourist destinations from Croatia and Italy on the tourist market.
