The University of Zadar is organizing a public event TAKE IT SLOW – SLOW FOOD FROM RAVNI KOTARI commemorating World Tourism Day

The University of Zadar is organizing a public event TAKE IT SLOW – SLOW FOOD FROM RAVNI KOTARI. As the TAKE IT SLOW project is designed to establish, manage and promote the Adriatic Region as a smart, integrated, sustainable, accessible, year-round, green and slow tourist destination of the Mediterranean based on the joint natural and cultural heritage of its islands, inland, coastal and rural Adriatic, this event will symbolically be held on the World Day of Tourism, 27th September 2021.

The event will be held in the courtyard of the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar. As a part of the event, a panel discussion with relevant stakeholders from the public and private sector will be held. The topic of the discussion will be the possibilities     of development of eno-gastronomic tourism based on the concept of the so-called « slow food » in Zadar County, with a special emphasis on the Ravni kotari area. Afterwards, a press conference with a presentation of the TAKE IT SLOW project will be held. Event participants will also have an opportunity to try freshly prepared traditional dishes and indigenous wines from Ravni kotari.
