The trip was organized on the occasion of the International Museum Day.

The aim of the trip was to promote the Blaca Hermitage and the island of Brač, one of the project TAKE IT SLOW pilot areas by presenting opportunities for the development of slow tourism based on encouraging the local community to address the impact of the tourism industry, but also preserving natural and cultural heritage and lifestyle.

The Blaca Hermitage is defined as one of the micro tourist destinations where project activities will be carried out. In addition to the reconstruction of the Blaca Hermitage, many other activities are planned in order to strengthen the capacity of local stakeholders and reduce the negative consequences of tourism development.
