The appointments with #TPPLIVE, the special of the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese dedicated to deepening the varied world of theater, culture and live entertainment, are back.

The episode, broadcasted live on Monday 12 April at 11 am on the Facebook page of the TPP and on that of the Municipality of Fasano, was dedicated entirely to TAKE IT SLOW “Smart and Slow Tourism Supporting Adriatic Heritage for Tomorrow”, strategic project founded by Interreg V-A Italy-Croatia CBC Programme, of which Teatro Pubblico Pugliese is a Partner and the Tourism and Culture Department of the Puglia Region is an Associate Partner, together with 5 other Italian Bodies and 5 Croatian Partners.

Guests of the episode, conducted by Ileana Sapone and Maddalena Tulanti, were: Cinzia Caroli, Councillor for Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Fasano; Angelofabio Attolico of the Tourism and Culture Department of the Puglia Region, Technical Manager of the Via Francigena in the South on behalf of the European Association of Via Francigena Ways and expert of the TPP for this project; Giuseppe D'Urso, president of the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese and Lino Manosperta, head of the Tpp project area.

The Project is aimed at the management and promotion of the Adriatic Region as a green, smart, sustainable, accessible and slow cross-border tourist destination, developing models of management of tourist destinations with a bottom-up approach to encourage local communities to face the impacts of the tourism industry and at the same time protect and promote the rich natural and cultural heritage of their territory.

In Puglia, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, in collaboration with Puglia Region - Department of Tourism, Economy of Culture and Valorization of the Territory, will orient its project activity on the enhancement of an area (micro-destination) of the route of the Via Francigena - Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, following the route of the Via Traiana.

The micro-destination is between Capitolo – a hamlet of the Municipality of Monopoli (BA), Torre Canne – a hamlet of the Municipality of Fasano (BR) and Fasano itself, a territory rich in fortified farms, olive trees, rural churches, rock settlements, places of extraordinary naturalistic, historical and environmental interest.

Following a bottom-up approach, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese has published a notice for the collection of expressions of interest for the creation of a "Local Community of Practice" (LCP), for a collective improvement. The deadline for submitting your application for participation in the LCP is 20 April 2021. The notice for the submission of applications is published on the website of the TPP www.teatropubblicopugliese.it, "Transparent Administration" section.
