The workshop was a cross-fertilisation event among different projects, having the same focus: the environmental protection and sustainability of freight and passenger transport in the Adriatic Sea, each project describing the outcomes of the respective project activities and lessons learned.

In this framework, the Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, LP of the SUSPORT – SUStainable PORTs strategic project – introduced the main project content and preliminary outputs, underlining the need for further cooperation among current and future projects having similar scope.

Also, representatives from the ports of Ravenna and Ploče presented the pilot actions which they already implemented and the concrete impact at cross-border level.
