On October 14th, 2021 Cristina Driusso, from Comune di Lignano Sabbiadoro, presented the activities developed by the municipality in the framework of RESPONSe project.

Indeed, RESPONSe project was invited to a panel dedicated to adaptation actions and organized by LIFE project Veneto Adapt. The webinar focused on an exchange of experiences on actions and interventions for adaptation to climatechanges in Northern Italy.

During her speech, the municipal representative highlighted that impacts and consequences from sea level rise, coastal erosion and heat waves are the main challenges the Italian municipality is facing with and that the analysis performed by the project helped them to find new solutions and to get local stakeholders aware about climate change impacts on Lignano.
