RESPONSe was approved in the framework of the 1st Call for Proposals for Standard projects, under priority axis safety and resilience.
 
The kick-off meeting will bring together project partners to set the agenda and get started with project activities.
 
The project aims to provide context-based solutions for empowering municipalities located along the Adriatic coastline and meeting the climate change challenge. The proposed approach is two-fold:

• On one hand, the goal is to enhance the current knowledge base on climatological and oceanographic trends at Adriatic level.
• On the other hand, to develop DSS tools to mainstream adaptation-enabling policy strategies at local level. Local public authorities are key actors within RESPONSe in their role as initiators of climate-smart policy-making and, as such, will be actively involved in project activities.

 
Sustainable action plans will be developed for selected pilot cities in Croatia and in Italy.
