The Kick-off Conference aims to present the RESISTANCE project to the public.
The goal of the RESISTANCE project is to share acquired knowledge and experiences about the sea, as well as coastal and river environments by capitalizing on the results of the Interreg projects ECOMAP, ECOSS, Net4mPLASTIC, SOUNDSCAPE, DORY, SASPAS, and ML-REPAIR. The project will support the development of Guidelines and methodologies of Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) at local and regional levels.
The Kick-off meeting will be held on Tuesday, the 19th of July. After the project presentation, the Workshop named „Sustainable management for Maritime Spatial Planning in protected areas/ for biodiversity protection considering climate change impacts“ will take place and gather different stakeholders who will discuss and share different views and perspectives on the topic.
The day before the Kick-off, the Municipality of Podstrana – LP, will organize site visits to the port of  Špinut and to the port and beach of Strožanac. These sites are interesting because the wastewater filtering facilities have been implemented in both ports and two blue flags were lifted this year on the beach of Strožanac and in the port of Špinut. All these activities have been implemented within the ECOMAP project.
On the third day, on the 19th of July, Kornati National Park Public Institution  - PP7, will organize the visit to Nacional Park Kornati and bays where NP Kornati has installed environmentally friendly anchor buoys within project SASPAS.​​​​​​​
