REMEMBER project was presented by the Port of Trieste at the Transnational conference “Sustainable Tourism and Culture: Building New Opportunities” of CREATURES project (co-financed by Interreg ADRION) organized by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on 21st October 2022 in Trieste. 

During the event, speakers from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Greece presented the results of the CREATURES project on the implementation of new cultural tourism routes in the area of the Interreg ADRION Programme as well as the latest European and national tourism trends related to the promotion of sustainable tourism and culture.

In this framework, the Port of Trieste, PP of REMEMBER project, introduced the main project content and outputs. In particular, the Adrijo platform was presented in detail. PNAEAS emphasised that the final result was achieved through the collaboration of all project partners with the aim of preserving and promoting the tangible and intangible maritime cultural heritage of Italian and Croatian ports, as a leverage for sustainable tourism and innovative economic opportunities in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
