Il paesaggio non è muto - A Community Listening and Participation Journey
As part of RELANDART, Atlantide is launching “Il paesaggio non è muto” (The Landscape Is Not Silent), a listening and participation journey dedicated to the Cervia Natural Park and the transformations the area has experienced in recent years.
The journey will begin on 17 September with a meeting dedicated to the Civic Project Team, bringing together local organisations and people, including partners, local representatives, schools, associations, services and community connectors.
The meeting will provide an initial opportunity for discussion, aimed at identifying the people and organisations to involve throughout the process and gathering different perspectives on the relationship with the Park, the changes experienced and the memories connected to the events that have affected the area.
The journey will be guided by the following question:
“What, of everything the Park has been through, is important to remember, and how can it become a sign that allows those who live in and visit the Park to experience it in a new way?”
The Civic Project Team will be the first step towards the subsequent Community Workshops, where the community will be invited to share places, memories, stories and traces connected to the Park.
The ideas and memories collected throughout the process will contribute to the development of a shared brief for artists, which will provide the basis for the future Land Art installations in the Park.
