The first press conference, the project RELANDART has officially begun

The project RELANDART Reviving Natural Disaster-Struck Landscapes through Land Art Routes - has officially begun. This cross-border initiative combines art, community participation and sustainable tourism to revitalise territories affected by natural disasters.
Project partners met on Thursday, 19 March 2026, at the headquarters of the lead partner Atlantide in Cervia for the Kick-off Meeting. This key moment marked the launch of the project activities and the definition of the first operational steps, in the presence of the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme Joint Secretariat Officer.
The partnership includes Atlantide (lead partner, Cervia), Sol.Co Ravenna and the City of Ploče (Croatia), all organisations committed to the cultural and environmental enhancement of their territories.
The project is funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme, has a duration of 18 months (January 2026 – June 2027) and a total budget of € 312,477.
The main objective is to regenerate places affected by natural events, transforming them into spaces of memory and renewed cultural attractiveness. This will be achieved through the creation of a European tourism route based on Land Art installations, interpretative paths and initiatives co-created with local communities.
Key activities include:

participatory mapping of local memory;

creative workshops with citizens and local stakeholders;

co-creation of sustainable Land Art installations;

cultural events to promote regenerated territories.
In addition to the development of a cross-border cultural route, RELANDART will produce a methodological Playbook, providing tools and practices that can be replicated in other European territories.
The project represents an innovative model of territorial regeneration based on culture, participation and sustainable tourism, contributing to the enhancement of fragile landscapes affected by natural disasters.
