The 3rd project meeting took place in the city of Cividale del Friuli (Italy) from 28 to 29 January 2020

 

The first day of the meeting began with a local media conference presenting the project, followed by a senior project meeting where each of the eight partners presented their pilot project, the specific activities the have been undertaken so far, as well as the actions planned in the future for each less-known cultural attractions inclued in the project. 

 

The common goal of the partners is to take advantage of the tourist potential urban and natural landscapes that were not included in the usual tourist routes, in order to achieve a better balance in the fluctuation of guests. The terms "landscapes of art" can be associated with all pilot sites, which will be the backbone of the future cultural tourist route to be realized at each of the planned locations.

 

The project partners also shared problems that crystallized the comparison of individual SWOT analyzes, which were elaborated in detail by the University of Bologna, one of the project partners, which suggested that three important topics be addressed in private training that would result in a common strategy that will affect the difficulties .

 

The representative of the City of Zadar was exposed to the partners so far progress in communication and capitalization activities for which the City of Zadar is in charge of the entire project, such as creating a communication strategy, official websites, official Facebook profiles, newsletters and more.

 

At the end of the day, a meeting of the Governing Council was chaired by the main partner of the partner - the region Emilia Romagna.

 

The second day of the meeting proved to be a tour of the host city and its pilot location which is as many as four. Cividale del Friuli is rich in archeological and monumental treasures from antiquity, the early Middle Ages and the Middle Ages, and the fact was the capital of the Kingdom of Langobard brought construction and UNESCO protection here.

 

Partners at RECOLOR have agreed on the next meeting date to be held in Šibenik on May 26-27.
